How To Text Message Your Man To Make Him Dream Of You

I couldn't resist it... I had to send him a text message... We've been through a lot of rough patches but something happened recently that I had mentally checked out... I had been busy... and stressed.... and I truly did not have the time for a relationship... so after two years of dating and slowly drifting apart I checked out completely..... and it wasn't the first time I broke up with him.... I just wasn't ready for anything more serious... I don't think I ever am....
And one day I called him just to chat... because I still missed talking to him... and him listening to me....
And sometimes I have this mental picture when I call him and talk to him for an hour... I picture that he quietly puts his iPhone down and leaves the room.... than I picture him working in the garage while I am talking up a storm on the phone.... and returning periodically just to check if I am still talking....
One time I asked him about it.... he laughed but said that no, he doesn't do it, although it's a great idea and thanked me for bringing it up to his attention.....
So, anyway, after being apart or having drifted apart I called him just to chat. At that time I was getting ready to have surgery... I mentioned that to him... I also said I didn't know how I was going to get to the hospital and was contemplating either driving there and leaving my car there getting picked up by my ex husband from the hospital or going in a cab.
One thing lead to another and he offered to drive me there...
On the night before the surgery he showed up at my place so that we could get up at the crack of dawn (4 AM) to get to the hospital by 6.
He picked me up after the surgery, did grocery shopping for me, cooked for me, and totally took care of me (I still had the anesthetics in my blood and could not fully take care of myself).
He was so nice and kind and wonderful that I actually thought that perhaps I should reconsider... and perhaps we should start dating again.
But something I knew needed to change..... ABOUT ME …. you know, because men never change.... especially when we want them to.....
And I knew that I should just accept him for who he is.... I just shouldn't get pissed off because he likes to watch television..... especially because he doesn't get upset anymore that I never cook for him... he's accepted it.... although he says if I cooked for him, he'd feel more special.... but I'd rather go and pick up take out at a restaurant just cause it takes too long, and not that I can't cook, I just don't have the time...
Anyways, I knew the problem in our relationship was that he did not feel special for a long time....
You know sometimes we get so wrapped up in our routine, we forget what makes our relationship special...
Remember when you and he started dating.... and how wonderful it was... and how special you made each other feel?
And I wanted to send him a text message just to make him feel special....
So I sent him a text message 'I'm thinking of u' knowing that he was on a business trip and was probably in a meeting. I didn't expect a response.
You understand that some text messages and love notes, etc. are sent not because we want a response. I just wanted to let him know that he was so precious to me that I actually thought about him.
And whatdoyaknow? He actually texted me back saying he missed me.
So, you never know. Send text messages and love notes without expecting something in return and you shall receive.
Now, I want to emphasize that this is my ex boyfriend who is still my friend. We are on good terms, and he is not dating anyone else. But if you are thinking about texting a new guy you've just met, this may not be the most appropriate move on your part.
