How often should you call a guy is a question that I get asked a lot. Women from all walks of life write to me asking me this specific question, how often should I call him if we've just met, or how often should I call my boyfriend, or how often should I call him if he doesn't call me at all. First off, if you've just met, it is natural for you to want to call him as often as you can just to hear his voice and to keep the lines of communications open. But hold your horses! If you've just met, calling him too much may actually turn him off. If you call him, let's say once a day every day you are sending him a very clear signal that you have no life other than calling him every day like a clock.

Phone calls should be a two way street. He calls you, then you call him, or the other way around.

It is better to let a guy do all the calling in the beginning of a relationship. Of course, if he calls you and leaves a message asking you to call him, you should call him back without playing games.

Calling him back immediately may be a good idea with some guys, while in other guys it may send him a caution warning telling him that if you call him back right away you may have been waiting for his call all along.
