Should You Call a Guy After The First Date

I get a lot of e-mails from women who ask me, should I call a guy after a first date? I wanted to offer my take on the situation.

Ok, let's say you go out on a date with this guy. You like him. And you think whether you should call him to say a polite 'thank you, I had a great time'. You are contemplating whether you should call him first.

Generally, you've got to remember that a first date is not a job interview. Relax! There aren't five hundred applicants for the position, and you don't need to be the most proactive one to get the job.

Remember, that getting the girl is the guy's job, and not the other way around.

What should you do? Should you wait for him to call?

As far as I am concerned, you should not wait for him to call you. Until he actually calls you, forget about him for a moment.

If you are that anxious to talk to a guy you men for a first date, you really need to work on yourself first before you are ready to date anybody.

On the other hand, the more guys you date, the more options you have. If you are single and don't have kids, you can date as many guys as you want and keep them all at arm's length at the same time enjoying everything that each guy has to offer.
